Infamous Baby began as an idea of Southern California based Momtrepeneur Miranda Firey.  Her vision was to design blankets, bjorn carrier covers and other accessories made with an edgy style that parents were looking for in a sea of boring, run of the mill fashions for their babies.  Firey's reputation for delivering high-quality, original accessories quickly gained the support of several Southern California area Boutiques.

In mid-2008, Firey partnered with clothing designer Lisa Schoeneberger and the Infamous Baby Clothing line was born.  Schoeneberger, a third generation member of a family who has worked in the Southern California garment industry since the late 1940's designs baby, infant, and toddler clothing that are truly unique and inspired by a range of fashion eras.  "I used to drive my mom nuts because by the time I was two years old, I had my own sense of fashion and had to pick out my own clothes every day.  By age three, I was pretty much designing my own clothes by telling my grandmother what I wanted, and she would make it for me, " says Schoeneberger.  Her flair for capturing style, comfort and practicality and translating it into clothing that is wearable and fashion forward is displayed in her original designs like the Swing-2-Tank dress that can be worn as a dress the first year, and as a tunic or tank top layered over a pair of leggings or pants that is the perfect mixture of couture meets value.

As mothers themselves, Firey and Schoeneberger strive to satisy a void in the marketplace for clothing and accessories that are equal parts of opulent quality and style. Infamous Baby is an emerging brand that can now be found on both the East and West Coast and in the most fashion forward Midwestern Boutiques that represent a new level of status for infants and toddlers that is unlike anything else you will find in the world of edgy fashion.  Their new Winter Clothing line has been gaining rapid recognition in the Punk, Rockabilly, Skater, and Alternative Music scenes.

Infamous Baby tastefully captures lavish quality with a rocker mentality and transforms that into stylish duds and accessories for your little rockstars. They  have a vision to outfit their little monsters the way they would themselves, in clothing proudly made in the USA in an eco-friendly, sweatshop free environment.  Their dresses, skirts, and button down shirts are made of the finest fabrics to be found like Egyptian Cotton, velvety corduroy, and ultra soft  jersey knits.  They search the world's textiles designers to find the coolest, edgiest prints that feature skulls, fleur de lis, crowns, flaming hearts, retro graphics, and anything else we just can't resist turning into yet another original
